very concerned for my lily

Postby lilylizsnuggi » Wed Jul 28, 2010 11:07 pm

My Lily has been acting strange for the a day...normally she is completely bonkers off the all nuts just like her nut bag sis Lizzy..but for the past day she is lazy..just overall totally down in the dumps....her eyes are bright and clear her coat is soft and silky but she has no energy....she will come out of their hidy hole and wander around for a few moments or just lay in the middle of the floor for a few moments then she goes back to the cave and sleeps for several hours....normally she is off like a rocket when their favoritest friend(my ten yr old daughter) walks into the room, but not today...Lizzy couldn't get her interested in playing....i called the only vet in the area that will even see ferrets and he can't see her for at least three weeks....any ideas? she didn't have a bowel movement that i know but they have a litter box behind our couch where the love to snooze...its gets cleaned twice a day and since we have two girls it's hard to tell...but she went to the litter box in the kitchen and nothing while i was standing there ? should i try a laxative til i can get her into a vet?
